Fast Track Web Programming was written as the answer to a book that could not be found: a summary of the new programming technologies that the Internet brought to the late 90's.

Most of the data in this book is still very relevant to today's internet. Although a great deal of basic web programming has been automated and incorporated into web authoring programs, this does not excuse the professional web engineer from knowing the basics of the job. Fast Track Web Programming was designed as an introduction to the web of web programming.
